Key Responsibilities Ensure all printers are properly installed and operational. Train Vanguard customers on how to operate our printers. Diagnose, repair and solve issues with our printers via remote support or onsite service. Support sales activities by passing information/opportunities to Sales. Provide remote support for our customer service 1-800 line. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to direct activities that support and deliver on our commitments. Document/Record service calls including materials and resolutions in our software (Salesforce) system. Qualifications Heavy, industrial equipment maintenance knowledge/experience. Installation/support experience onsite as field tech/engineer. Willingness to travel as needed, typically up to 75% of the time throughout the USA and Canada, with occasional weekend work to meet customer needs. Great attitude and eagerness to learn. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong mechanical aptitude and good dexterity. Strong electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills. Ability to identify, recommend, and implement effective technical repair and maintenance solutions. High school diploma or equivalent. Experience or training within some form of mechanical discipline. Valid driver license and willingness to do pre-employment drug and criminal background checks. English proficiency. Proficient computer skills. Physical Demands: Must be able to stand and walk most of the workday, including frequent bending/stooping. Must be able to lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pounds. Nice-to-Have Associates degree or equivalent training and/or experience. Previous experience in printing or related industry. Familiarity with reading schematics and wiring diagrams. Hands‑on experience with hand tools. Working knowledge of multimeters for electrical testing. Working knowledge of AC and DC up to 3 phase. Basic knowledge of PLC programming. Strong understanding of computer hardware and software.
