We are looking to find an Assistant Director of Nursing Services to join the nursing administration team at our skilled nursing facility in Amsterdam, NY!

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in day-to-day administrative function

• Make written or oral reports to necessary personnel

• Monitor and maintain the infection control procedures and policies of the facility as the Infection Prevention Specialist

• Participate in the developing, planning, conducting, and scheduling of staff development classes, training, and orientation

• Review and revise care plans and assessments as needed

• Make rounds of the nursing service department to ensure that all nursing service personnel are performing their work duties

• Monitor absenteeism to maintain an adequate number of nursing care personnel

• Maintain a liaison with the residents, their families, support departments, etc.

Assistant Director of Nursing Services Requirements

• Valid NYS RN license

• Teaching/in-service experience

Preferred

• Previous experience with  Point Click Care is a plus!

Pay: $105,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
