NOW HIRING: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

Location: Newport, RI 02840
Pay: $23–$25/hour
Position: Maintenance Technician contract and can go perm

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Technician to support a residential property management community in Newport, RI. This position is ideal for someone with basic handyman skills who is comfortable with grounds maintenance and assisting with apartment turnovers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property grounds and common areas
• Assist with apartment turnovers and prepare units for new residents
• Perform basic handyman and general maintenance work
• Complete minor repairs as needed
• Assist with painting, patching, and basic unit preparation
• Help keep the property clean, safe, and well maintained
• Respond to routine maintenance requests
• Assist the property management and maintenance teams as needed

Qualifications

• Previous property maintenance, apartment maintenance, handyman, or facilities experience preferred
• Basic handyman and repair skills
• Experience with apartment turnovers is a plus
• Dependable and able to work independently
• Ability to perform physical maintenance and grounds work
• Professional and reliable

Pay: $23–$25/hour

Monday – Friday

8:30-5pm
