Behavior TechnicianDo you want to make a difference in the lives of others? Are you 21 years of age or older? We are looking for a Behavior Technician to provide services to the Saint Cloud and surrounding areas, up to around 20 minutes away from Saint Cloud. Our Behavior Technician position works with individuals to provide in-home care and services on their behalf, as well as contributes to the company and management team with the goal of improving and maintaining high-quality performance standards and reputations within the communities we serve.Duties and responsibilities:Provide services to individuals who are more likely to engage in behaviors, such as but not limited to, physical aggression, verbal aggression, elopement, self-injurious behavior, and property destructionAbility to understand and implement a variety of support plans and individual service plansMaintain compliance with federal and state standards and lawsOversee the day-to-day implementation of services within a designated caseload with the direct support and guidance of managementGather and document information in order to support individual needs and goalsAbility to track and chart data on a daily basis in compliance with company expectationsCommunicate frequently with managers and coordinators, especially in response to behavioral incidentsUphold confidentiality and privacy of individuals and staff membersAbility and willingness to fill in Direct Support Professional roles as neededMedication administrationAssist with cash transactions, accurately track spending, and maintain receiptsAssist individuals with activities of daily living, including but not limited to, personal hygiene, oral hygiene, and peri-carePerform exemplary direct support duties, with a willingness to go above and beyondOther responsibilities as assignedQualifications:Qualified applicants must be at least 21 years of age and possess a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
