About The Unit Our Visiting Nurses Association provides home care skilled nursing for West‑Central Michigan. We accept applications from experienced RNs, LPNs, and new graduates. This autonomous RN role uses top nursing skills and critical thinking, treating patients in their homes. Nurses visit 5–7 patients per shift in areas from Ludington to Gun Lake, covering Kent County, Ottawa County, and neighboring communities. Scope of Work Under the supervision of the Nursing Manager and with the interdisciplinary team, the RN uses clinical judgment to assess, monitor, and plan care. The RN implements treatment plans, monitors patient status, detects complications, and takes appropriate action to prevent physiological complications related to health problems or treatments.
