Licensed Practical Nurse- Plasma Center

Position Overview Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) at BioLife Plasma Services, a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. The role reports to the Plasma Center Manager or Assistant Manager and the Center Physician. Key Responsibilities Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history, physical examination, and blood testing. Manage donor adverse events and follow SOPs for medical emergencies. Review laboratory test results, including Serological Protein Electrophoresis. Notify donors of unsuitable test results and refer to the Center Physician for medical issues. Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees. Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health and EHS. Serve as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS. Qualifications High school diploma or graduate equivalent in a recognized nursing program with state requirements. Licensed or certified LPN/LVN in the state where responsibilities will be assigned. Current CPR and AED certification. State-required basic IV therapy certification. Completed FDA‑approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist. Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting. Benefits & Compensation $5,000 sign‑on bonus. Hourly wage range: $24.32 – $33.44 per hour, commensurate with qualifications.
