Quality Control Technician Mid Shift  – Kenny's Candy & Confections

Hours: 2:40pm - 11:00pm (Monday - Friday)

Compensation:

• All in hourly compensation: $22.71/hr
  • Base Pay: $20.27/hr
  • Sign on Bonus: $1.22/hr worked
  • 6% Shift Differential for Mid Shift: $1.22/hr
• Profit Sharing Eligibility: Begins after completing 1 year of employment ($7.7 Million in Profits Paid to Profit Sharing Pool in 2025)

What We Are Looking For

We’re now hiring a Mid Shift Machine Operator to analyze process controls and finished products for conformance to specifications and to monitor aspects of production processes to ensure continuous food safety and quality improvement. 

Essential Duties:

• Monitor and record in-process controls

• Perform in-process and finished product quality checks 

• Monitor production practices to assure optimum production

• Communicate with appropriate production departments on quality test results

• Complete documentation for all monitoring and tests performed in the spec book

• Collect product retain samples

• Place non-conforming product on hold

• Perform ATP and allergen testing

• Receive in bulk ingredient shipments

QUALIFICATIONS

• Good attendance record
• Experience or training up to 1 month or more
• Self-motivated
• Learning, memorizing, and executing a sequence of procedures
• Willing to work well with others
• Ability to lift up to 80lbs
• Firm grasp of manufacturing and quality process
• Basic computer skills
• Good communication skills
