Job Title

This position involves transporting staff and clients utilizing company vehicles in a safe and professional manner. Responsibilities include assisting with the loading and offloading of luggage, products, and materials. Maintaining a professional image and attitude towards clients and co-workers is essential. Daily vehicle pre-trip and post trip inspections, along with documentation and maintenance of vehicle cleanliness, are required. Clients and patients should be assisted as needed to safely complete the transfer. Travel routes should be adjusted to avoid traffic congestion or road construction. Any ticket issues against the company vehicle during work hours must be promptly informed to the company. Ensuring that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking to avoid towing is also necessary. Accurate time records of the company vehicle's coming and goings must be provided. Any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage should be reported to management. Understanding instructions in English (both written and spoken) is required. Accurate completion of activity logs and vehicle reports is mandatory. Understanding and operating GPS devices and cell phones is necessary. All duties assigned by Seventy Times Seven Wellness Mission must be performed. Physical ability to step up and down steps and safely secure clients for transport is required.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license. Clean driving record (must be provided annually). Sound knowledge of road safety regulations. Working knowledge of local roads and routes. Ability to utilize maps, GPS systems, and car manuals. Effective communication skills. Punctual and reliable. Must pass a State of Maryland background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Working Conditions

Working in extreme weather conditions. Ability to sit for hours. Ability to work the hours necessary to complete the work.
