Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Sterile Processing Technician for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. This role involves working in a state-of-the-art Sterile and Materials Processing facility, where you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for the decontamination, high-level disinfection, assembling, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments. - Inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instrument pans, procedural trays, and case carts
- Operate steam sterilizers and maintain proper levels of time, pressure, and temperature
- Check and adjust medical equipment to ensure proper operation
- Decontaminate surgical instruments and prevent cross-contamination
- Receive, store, and document supplies stock received from vendors
- Perform quality assurance checks on sterile supplies and instruments
- Certified Sterile Processor (HSPA or CBSPD)
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as SPT
- Large hospital experience (500 beds plus)
- Travel experience (6 months)
- 2 professional references from the last two experiences
