Acquisition Specialist

Creative Global Consulting (CGC) is seeking an Acquisition Specialist to support acquisition and contract administration services for the Naval Health Research Center in San Diego, CA . The selected candidate will assist with contract modification review, invoice review, COR support documentation, ODC/travel request review, contract file management, monthly reporting, and other post-award administration activities. The work supports NHRC acquisition and compliance operations and requires strong administrative discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to work with procurement-sensitive and contract-related information. Key Responsibilities Review contract modifications and notify the Government representative of potential errors. Support contract closeout preparation by confirming deliverables, invoice approval/payment status, and required documentation. Conduct preliminary invoice reviews to verify deliverables, billing accuracy, and available contract funding. Work with vendors and requestors to clarify information and support corrections. Draft COR documentation, including monthly reports, quarterly surveillance reports, and CPARS-related documentation for Government review. Record, organize, and maintain contract files, invoice records, deliverables, COR correspondence, and supporting documentation. Review ODC and travel requests for completeness, supporting documentation, funding availability, and regulatory limits. Support quarterly COR file reviews and make file corrections as needed. Prepare monthly status information and support invoice package documentation. Complete required onboarding, training, and Non-Disclosure Agreement requirements before performing work. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of administrative experience supporting military or medical R&D. Experience with contract administration, acquisition support, invoice review, documentation review, or federal program support. Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate records. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work onsite in San Diego, CA. Ability to complete Government-required training and onboarding requirements. Ability to handle sensitive procurement, contract, vendor, and Government information appropriately. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience supporting Navy, DoD, NAVSUP, BUMED, NHRC, medical research, military healthcare, or federal acquisition environments. Familiarity with WAWF, PIEE, COR reports, CPARS documentation, contract closeout, invoice approval workflows, or contract file management. Experience reviewing invoices, deliverables, modifications, travel requests, ODCs, and funding documentation. Experience working in a research, scientific, medical, or military program office. #J-18808-Ljbffr
