About the Position

Location: Denver, Colorado

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Highlights:

• 23-bed postpartum/mother-baby unit with approximately 80 team members
• Patient ratios of 3:1 or 4:1 (estimated)
• Collaborative environment with dedicated charge nurses and support staff
• EMR system: Meditech/CPN
• Travel RN assignment in a dynamic, high-volume postpartum setting
• Opportunity to work with a well-established, experienced clinical team

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Colorado (or compact state license)
• Minimum 1 year of recent hospital postpartum/mother-baby experience required
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Experience in a mother-baby unit preferred
• Flexibility with scheduling and ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments

Responsibilities:

• Monitor vital signs and administer medications to postpartum patients
• Manage perineal care and postpartum recovery
• Educate parents on newborn care, safety practices, and bonding techniques
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment
