Security Architect

Working remotely on a contract basis, a South Carolina Licensed Security Architect will manage cybersecurity automations, security tool development, and identity and access management while collaborating with a large enterprise security team to enhance security operations for state agencies. Key responsibilities Assist in the planning, design, development, and operational support of enterprise security automations and custom security tools Develop and maintain automated workflows for incident response, alert enrichment, and vulnerability management Support security architects and engineers by troubleshooting complex technical issues and ensuring high availability of security tools and systems Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Security; 8+ years of relevant experience may substitute for education 5+ years of experience in supporting large IT environments and cybersecurity technologies Hands-on experience in security engineering and developing automations using Python Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, security platforms, and operating systems Experience with Linux system deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management
