Line Cook

Responsibilities You will prepare menu items for dining room service while working efficiently with standardized recipes and presentations. You will take directions from Chef, provide excellent service to both guests and team members, and ensure all guests’ special needs are met, including dietary restrictions. You will estimate food consumption and purchases, or requisition food and kitchen supplies, and ensure efficiency and timely food production and safety. You will also participate in the provisioning of the island, including loading and unloading of supply vessels, conducting inventories, and properly and safely storing items. Qualifications Valid Alaska Food Handler's Certification ServSafe Managers certificate preferred Knowledge of proper food handling and preparation standards Current CPR and First Aid certification Strong communication and interpersonal skills Culinary School graduate or previous experience as a cook in food service operations, or an equivalent combination of experience and training Compensation Starting wage: $19.00 per hour.
