About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its local chapter, which is dedicated to empowering youth facing significant obstacles through long-term, professional mentoring. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, community-focused leader with a proven track record in nonprofit management, particularly in the areas of fundraising, strategic planning, and program delivery. This role is pivotal in expanding the organization's visibility, impact, and sustainability, and the Executive Director will be responsible for providing strategic direction, leading fundraising efforts, and fostering strong relationships with the community, donors, and the Board of Directors. The ideal candidate will have a deep commitment to the mission, a passion for child development, and the ability to inspire and engage others in the work of the organization. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company's local chapter should have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) and at least 10 years' of executive leadership experience in a nonprofit or related environment. The role requires a strategic thinker with a successful history in fundraising, operations, finance, and people leadership. The Executive Director will be the primary spokesperson for the organization, so exceptional communication skills and the ability to build authentic relationships are essential. Experience in the local philanthropic and business communities is strongly preferred, as is a background in working with diverse populations. The candidate should be a collaborative team player, with a hands-on leadership style, and the ability to make sound decisions while managing the organization's growth and impact. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a valuable asset.
