If you are a problem-solver with a service first mentality and a passion for helping people, come join our team!As a Senior Actuarial Analyst in Pricing, you will be instrumental in completing pricing and rate analysis and completing peer reviews, while leveraging data-driven approaches.What we are looking for:Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial science, Statistics, Analytics or related field and 2 years of experience in an actuarial position or insurance pricing or 4 years of experience in in an actuarial position or insurance pricingStrong skills with programming languages such as Python, SQL, R, SAS and VBA- preferred4+ Actuarial Exams Passed- preferredWhat you'll do:Complete pricing and rate analysis as assignedComplete peer review as well as review of Analyst work to ensure quality of work productsPrepare actuarial portions of rate filings including assisting with responses to questions raised by the various insurance departmentsPrepare special projects as requested by the businessModify and write code to manipulate and query data with minimal supervisionAssist with training others on pricing and rate analysis tasksAssist in the preparation of rate level indicationsAssist in the preparation of analyses of statistical experienceAssist with monitoring Actuarial Department communications for opportunities to collaborate and drive consistency in actuarial work productsSupport continuous improvement efforts of regular reoccurring processes within the department to minimize errorsHiring Range$102,000–$140,000 represents typical starting salaries and is a portion of the full pay range for the role. Starting pay is determined based on several factors, including relevant experience, education, skills, and certifications.
