Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Education, active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, and a minimum 1+ years BCBA experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make an impact across a network of schools in the Chattanooga area as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the upcoming academic year. This contract position offers you the ability to collaborate with a dynamic district team, working out of the central office to support students, staff, and families through a well-structured referral process spanning up to 80 schools. Enjoy the balance and variety of district-wide engagement—with a manageable caseload driven by active referrals.

This role partners with prominent programs such as the Vanderbilt Triad, providing monthly expert consultations for enhanced data-driven decision-making and professional learning. The district’s detailed Help Desk model ensures support systems are in place, allowing for effective work without overload.

Qualifications:

• Active BCBA license required
• Previous school-based experience as a BCBA preferred
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to evidence-based behavioral interventions and data collection
• Willingness to complete time-sensitive credentialing, including fingerprinting

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative behavioral support to students, educators, and families
• Serve as a collaborative resource across various schools via the referral process
• Participate in district-wide initiatives, including regular consults with outside experts
• Contribute to the ongoing development of behavioral programs and district best practices
• Work an average 7.5-hour day (roughly 35 hours/week), adapting to school start times
• Maintain thorough documentation and support data-based decision making
