This is a field-based sales role for someone who enjoys getting out in front of customers, developing new business, growing existing accounts, and finding solutions that make a real impact on customer operations.You'll take ownership of developing and expanding customer parts programs—including consignment inventory—while identifying new opportunities with customers who may not currently purchase parts from RSC. From understanding how a customer uses inventory to recommending the right stocking strategy, you'll play an important role in improving customer uptime while growing RSC's presence in the Louisville market.This isn't a role where you'll spend every day behind a desk. You'll be out in the territory, meeting with customers, developing relationships, delivering solutions, and creating new sales opportunities.What You'll DoAs our Parts Sales Representative, you'll manage and grow a customer base throughout the Louisville territory. You'll be responsible for:Identifying new parts sales opportunities and developing relationships with prospective and existing customers.Growing RSC's share of parts business within current accounts.Developing, presenting, and implementing customized parts consignment programs based on customer needs.Managing existing consignment accounts and identifying opportunities to expand those programs.Conducting regular customer visits to review inventory, understand operational needs, and uncover additional sales opportunities.Performing scheduled parts deliveries and pickups for assigned customers.Developing parts solutions for customers outside of consignment programs, including direct supply, emergency and breakdown support, and planned maintenance needs.Analyzing customer purchasing patterns, parts usage, and inventory trends to recommend appropriate stocking levels.Building strong relationships with customer decision-makers and becoming a trusted resource for their parts needs.Monitoring inventory performance and helping reduce obsolete or slow-moving inventory.Tracking sales growth, account activity, inventory utilization, and other key performance metrics.Partnering closely with RSC's Parts, Service, Product Support, Warehouse, Operations, and Sales teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.Staying informed on customer needs, competitive activity, and opportunities within the Louisville market.Maintaining accurate account, program, and consignment documentation.Performing other duties and responsibilities as needed to support the department and organization.What We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.3+ years of experience in parts sales, B2B sales, account management, inventory management, or a related field.Experience working with ERP systems and/or inventory management software.Strong customer relationship and business development skills.Ability to identify sales opportunities and turn customer needs into solutions.Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.Ability to work independently, manage a territory, and take ownership of results.Ability and willingness to travel daily throughout the assigned Louisville sales territory.Preferred QualificationsExperience with consignment inventory programs.Previous B2B parts sales experience.Experience using CRM software to manage accounts and sales opportunities.Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.Experience within material handling, industrial equipment, automotive, heavy equipment, or a related industry.What Success Looks LikeSuccess in this role means developing strong customer relationships while consistently growing the parts business. You'll be focused on expanding existing accounts, bringing new customers to RSC, developing successful consignment programs, increasing customer share-of-wallet, and making sure customers have access to the parts they need when they need them.Compensation & Company VehicleThis position offers a $55,000 base salary plus commission, giving you the opportunity to increase your earnings as you grow the parts business and develop your territory.Because this position requires regular travel throughout the Louisville territory, a company vehicle will be provided for eligible employees who successfully meet applicable pre-employment and driving requirements, including a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and any other requirements necessary to operate a company vehicle and be covered under RSC's insurance program.Why Raymond Storage Concepts?At Raymond Storage Concepts, we do more than sell equipment and parts.
