Job Summary Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) - Colorado Springs, Colorado. This position involves providing specialized respiratory therapy care to pediatric and neonatal patients within a hospital setting. Job Details Position Description: Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care unit (NICU) Respiratory Therapist providing patient care within the healthcare provider environment. Required Qualifications: Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Cardiopulmonary, minimum 2 years of pediatric experience, licensure as Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications, minimum 2 years NICU (Level III or IV) and emergency department experience, and licensure and certification requirements as specified. Schedule: 12-Hour Nights (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), minimum 36 hours per week. Preferred Qualifications: Neonatal/Pediatric Specialty (NPS) certification. Additional Information: Up to 6 ventilated patients in a small unit with a broad skill mix, requiring strong collaboration skills and teamwork. Experience with pediatric care and support for float and cross-cover responsibilities are valued. COVID-19 vaccination or valid exemptions accepted; exemption forms are required.
