Clinic Assistant - Pain and Palliative Care Children’s Minnesota is one of the largest pediatric health systems in the United States and the only health system in Minnesota to provide care exclusively to children, from before birth through young adulthood. Department Overview The Pain Program is a multidisciplinary team providing pain management as determined by the individual patient’s needs. They consult with the anesthesiologist and coordinate pain care for patients requiring complex pain assessment and management. Position Summary This position exists to assist the providers and staff in the clerical and patient care aspects of the pediatric clinic. Responsibilities Assist providers and staff with clerical duties and patient care in the pediatric clinic. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. BLS certification required. Post‑high‑school training in a health‑care setting and/or pediatric experience preferred. Computer knowledge. Medical terminology knowledge preferred. In addition to salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on‑call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
