We strive to create a work environment where every employee is valued and treated like family. 320 South Market St. Elizabethtown, PA 17022 View phone number on click.appcast.io Now Hiring: Maintenance Assistant Benefits of working with us: Easy PTO Paid vacation time Dental Insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Life insurance Potential for Growth Stable Work Environment Family like surroundings Responsibilities of a Maintenance Assistant: Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC) Assist with painting, groundskeeping, and seasonal tasks Complete work orders promptly Clean common areas, resident rooms, and facility spaces Handle laundry duties: wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and clothing Maintain safety, cleanliness, and order throughout the facility Respond to maintenance emergencies as needed Support a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff Qualifications of a Maintenance Assistant: Experience in maintenance, housekeeping, or laundry in a healthcare setting or long-term care is preferred Basic knowledge of building systems, tools, and cleaning equipment Ability to work independently and manage time well Attention to detail and commitment to safety and infection control Able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks At Emerald Nursing and Rehabilitation and Rehab, our mission is to provide our residents with comprehensive health services of the highest quality in an atmosphere of dignity and respect.
