Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg, travel assignment in Dundee, Kansas, starting 08/09/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range is $1,841 to $2,009 per week. Shifts are 3x12-hour day shifts. Setting: Short-Term Acute Care Hospital working in the Med Surg unit.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the medical-surgical unit, including assessment, monitoring, and interventions for adult patients
- Administer medications and manage IV therapy, including high‑risk infusions as ordered, and monitor patient responses
- Document care in the electronic medical record, update care plans, and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team
- Monitor patient safety, perform ongoing head-to-toe assessments, manage tubes/lines, and assist with procedures as needed
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, discharge planning, and post-acute care needs
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals; may float to ED within scope to meet patient needs

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Kansas or a Compact license
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of hospital Med Surg experience
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and fulfill weekend requirements
- Strong documentation, critical thinking, and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced inpatient setting
