Overview
Registered Nurse – House Supervisor needed to support a 180-bed skilled nursing facility in Newark, New York. This travel - temporary assignment begins 09/01/2026 and runs for weekly blocks of weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,230 - $2,412 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 4x9 Nights. Off-shift clinical resource focused on mentoring staff, clinical problem-solving, and coordinating patient flow across five units, including geriatrics, rehab, and secure dementia/neurobehavioral care.

Responsibilities
- Serve as RN House Supervisor during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, providing off-shift clinical leadership across multiple units
- Mentor, coach, and counsel nursing staff; support staff development and competency
- Manage clinical problems, patient flow, and resource allocation to maintain safe, quality care across five units
- Oversee code management, de-escalation of assaultive behavior, infection control, and regulatory readiness
- Ensure accurate IV/venous access care, wound care, tube feeds, catheter/ostomy care, and related procedures per policy
- Monitor compliance with DPHS/TJC/OSHA regulations and HIPAA; document and report incidents as needed

Requirements
- Active New York RN license in hand to submit
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years RN experience with prior charge/charge nurse supervisory experience
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system
- Ability to work across a 180-bed skilled nursing setting (geriatrics, rehab, secure dementia); strong clinical problem-solving, de-escalation, and infection control knowledge
- Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; willingness to float to other units and support off-shift coverage
