Job Overview

Position: Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Lewiston, ME

Department: Coronary Care Unit

Available Shifts: Nights

Compensation: Up to $1,451.52 – $1,982.16 gross weekly

Duration of Assignment: 12 weeks

Key Responsibilities

Provide safe and effective patient care utilizing the nursing process
Deliver direct patient care within your professional scope
Educate patients and their families; oversee nursing support staff
Uphold care standards in the Coronary Care Unit
Take responsibility for the care of assigned patients
Communicate clinical changes to physicians, including cardiac monitoring and diagnostics
Respond promptly and accurately to any changes in patient condition or treatment response

Qualifications

Must possess a current and valid state RN License
Hold a current BLS certification upon hire and maintain it
Have a current ACLS certification upon hire and keep it updated
Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation certification required upon hire
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an Acute Care hospital setting is necessary
Experience with Ventilator Management is preferred
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred
