Senior Site Superintendent / Project Manager - Residential Construction

We are hiring an experienced Senior Site Superintendent / Project Manager to lead complex residential construction projects throughout the Boston area. We are specifically looking for a senior field professional who can independently oversee two to three active projects from mobilization through final turnover. The right candidate will have direct experience with ground‑up multifamily construction, historic brownstone renovations, full‑gut remodels, or similar complex urban residential work. This is not an Assistant Superintendent position. You will own daily field operations, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, inspections, safety, quality, documentation, and communication with ownership and project stakeholders. The successful candidate must understand the realities of building in Boston, including older structures, restricted site access, occupied neighborhoods, permitting challenges, unforeseen conditions, and high‑end finish requirements. Responsibilities Lead daily field operations across two to three active residential construction projects Manage projects from mobilization and startup through punch list, turnover, and closeout Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, consultants, utilities, and internal teams Develop and maintain project schedules, look‑ahead plans, sequencing, deliveries, and site logistics Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, scopes of work, and field documentation Monitor safety, quality, schedule performance, subcontractor productivity, and overall jobsite progress Identify structural, constructability, scheduling, and coordination issues before they delay the work Lead subcontractor meetings, inspections, progress reviews, jobsite walks, and punch‑list completion Maintain clear communication with ownership, clients, architects, subcontractors, and project stakeholders Ensure projects are delivered safely, professionally, and in accordance with schedule and quality expectations Requirements 10+ years of construction experience with significant responsibility for residential field operations Proven experience independently managing projects as a Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, or field‑focused Project Manager Strong background in ground‑up multifamily, historic brownstone renovation, full‑gut residential renovation, or urban residential construction Ability to manage multiple active projects without constant oversight Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, subcontractor coordination, inspections, safety, and quality control Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, structural plans, specifications, and construction documents Experience managing projects from initial mobilization through final completion and closeout Strong leadership, communication, organization, documentation, and field problem‑solving skills Ability to travel between active jobsites throughout the Boston area Benefits $120,000‑$160,000 base salary, based on experience Performance‑based bonus opportunity Health insurance and benefits package Paid time off Additional company‑sponsored benefits Opportunity to lead complex and highly visible residential projects throughout Boston This opportunity is ideal for a senior construction leader who can run projects from the field, maintain control across multiple jobsites, and consistently deliver high‑quality work without requiring constant direction. #J-18808-Ljbffr AlphaX
