Job Description Position: Security Officer Patrol Protector – Playa Vista, CA (Part‑Time) Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Friday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM Saturday: 10:0 PM – 06:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff, following site‑specific procedures and supporting security‑related protocols throughout the location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly, report concerns to the appropriate contacts, and maintain a visible presence to deter security‑related incidents. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned parts of the location. Monitor activity at assigned posts to deter unauthorized access, suspicious behavior, and policy violations through visible presence and professional interaction. Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with directions, crowd management, and communication during events or incidents. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security‑related experience. Guard card or license preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet. Access control and badge experience preferred. Customer service experience preferred. 18 years of age or older for unarmed roles; 21 years of age or older for armed roles. High school diploma or equivalent. Subject to background investigation and drug screening in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. Criminal histories considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment. Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
