Handyman Technician / General Service Technician
Job Type: Full-Time
About the Position
We’re looking for a dependable, motivated individual to join our growing home services team. This is not a position where you’ll do the same thing every day. We need someone who enjoys variety, isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty, and is willing to tackle whatever the job requires.
One day you may be repairing drywall, the next installing a ceiling fan, building a deck, mowing a property, or cleaning up landscaping. No two days are the same.
Responsibilities
- General handyman repairs and home maintenance
- Carpentry, drywall, painting, trim, and door repairs
- Basic plumbing and electrical repairs (within experience and licensing requirements)
- Fixture, appliance, and furniture installations
- Deck, fence, and exterior repairs
- Mowing, edging, weed eating, hedge trimming, and general property maintenance
- Yard cleanups and light landscaping
- Haul away debris and maintain clean job sites
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and lawn equipment safely
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with clients
Qualifications
- Experience in handyman work, construction, landscaping, maintenance, or a related field is preferred
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and lawn equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work outdoors in Florida weather
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
