Remote working POSITION OVERVIEW :Project Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager based to lead project planning, execution, governance, financial tracking, and stakeholder communication. The Project Manager will work closely with Business Analysts (BAs), Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), offshore delivery teams, finance, and leadership to ensure projects remain on schedule, risks and issues are proactively managed, and stakeholders receive accurate and timely updates.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Planview Management
- Own and maintain the overall project plan in Planview.Provide weekly Planview updates, ensuring schedules, milestones, dependencies, and delivery dates remain current.Track and manage project risks, issues, actions, and dependencies (RAID).Manage and monitor resource allocation and capacity within Planview.Identify schedule or resource constraints and work with appropriate teams to develop mitigation plans.Ensure project information in Planview accurately reflects the current delivery status.
- Prepare and maintain detailed weekly A3 project status updates.Work closely with Business Analysts, SMEs, technical teams, and workstream leads each week to validate progress.Maintain a detailed schedule covering key activities, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and upcoming deliverables.Highlight schedule variances, blockers, decisions required, and corrective actions.
- Prepare the Monthly Stakeholder PowerPoint presentation covering overall project health, accomplishments, milestones, financials, risks/issues, resource status, and upcoming priorities.Present the monthly project update to leadership and key stakeholders.Clearly communicate project challenges, dependencies, decisions required, and mitigation plans.Ensure leadership has appropriate visibility into project progress and areas requiring escalation.
- Participate in and, where required, facilitate daily stand-ups and project status meetings.Track actions, decisions, blockers, and dependencies arising from project meetings.Follow up with owners to ensure open items are resolved within agreed timelines.Coordinate across business, technology, and delivery teams to maintain alignment.
- Partner closely with the Finance team to ensure accurate project financial tracking and reporting.Monitor project budget, actuals, forecasts, resource costs, and financial variances.Reconcile project financial information with delivery and resource plans.Identify financial risks or variances and communicate them to project leadership.
- Conduct a weekly status meeting with the offshore delivery team.Gather and consolidate delivery status, accomplishments, upcoming activities, risks, issues, dependencies, blockers, and open items.Track offshore deliverables against the agreed project schedule.Facilitate resolution of cross-team dependencies and escalate critical issues when necessary.Ensure offshore updates are incorporated into weekly A3, Planview, and stakeholder reporting.
- 8+ years of strong experience in Project Management / Program Delivery within complex enterprise environments.3+ yeras of hands-on experience with Planview is required.5+ years of strong project planning, scheduling, resource management, and RAID management capabilities.3+ years of experience preparing A3 or similar structured project status reports.Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and executive-level presentations.Experience managing project budgets, forecasts, actuals, and financial reporting.Experience working with onshore and offshore/global delivery teams.Ability to collaborate effectively with BAs, SMEs, technical teams, finance teams, delivery leads, and senior leadership.Strong communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and presentation skills.Ability to proactively identify project risks, schedule impacts, and resource constraints and drive them to resolution.
