IT Project Manager - Procore

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an IT Project Manager who is proficient with Procore for a remote opportunity with one of our premier clients.


IT Project Manager - Procore
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with strong Procore experience to lead and coordinate technology initiatives supporting construction operations and project delivery. This individual will manage projects involving Procore implementations, integrations, enhancements, upgrades, and business process improvements while partnering with IT, construction operations, finance, project teams, vendors, and other key stakeholders.
The ideal candidate combines strong project management expertise with hands-on knowledge of the Procore construction management platform and an understanding of how technology supports construction project workflows.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead IT and business initiatives involving Procore, including implementations, enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and process improvements.
• Manage projects from initiation and planning through implementation, deployment, and transition to support.
• Partner with construction operations, project management, finance, field teams, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including internal technical resources, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
• Manage Procore-related integrations with enterprise systems and other business applications.
• Support the configuration and enhancement of Procore workflows and processes to improve project delivery and operational efficiency.
• Facilitate project meetings, status reporting, stakeholder communications, and executive updates.
• Identify and proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and resource constraints.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing, training, deployment, and change management activities.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business and technology objectives.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing IT or technology projects.
• Demonstrated experience working with the Procore construction management platform.
• Experience managing Procore implementations, enhancements, integrations, or related technology initiatives.
• Strong understanding of construction project management processes and workflows.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong experience with project planning, scheduling, risk management, issue management, and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear project plans and technical deliverables.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Procore modules such as:
  • Project Management
  • Document Management
  • Financial Management
  • Change Management
  • RFIs and Submittals
  • Drawings and Specifications
  • Field Management
• Experience integrating Procore with ERP, financial, document management, or other enterprise applications.
• Experience working with construction companies, general contractors, engineering firms, or related organizations.
• PMP, Agile, Scrum, or other project management certifications.
• Experience with tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or Azure DevOps.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a technology-focused Project Manager who understands both IT delivery and construction operations. They should have enough Procore expertise to effectively lead discussions with business users, technical teams, and vendors while managing the full project lifecycle and ensuring successful adoption of technology solutions.
