Role: Python Developer / AI Engineer

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid 2-3 days onsite in a week)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer / AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable AI-driven applications and backend services. The ideal candidate will have strong Python development skills along with hands-on experience building and integrating AI/ML solutions, APIs, and cloud-based applications .

Key Responsibilities

Develop scalable backend applications and services using Python .

Design and integrate REST APIs and microservices .

Develop and integrate AI/ML models and Generative AI solutions .

Work with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and AI agents .

Build data processing and automation pipelines.

Integrate AI applications with databases, enterprise systems, and third-party APIs.

Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.

Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.

Required Skills

5+ years of experience in Python development .

Strong experience with Python, FastAPI, Flask, or Django .

Experience developing REST APIs and microservices .

Hands-on experience with AI/ML or Generative AI .

Experience with LLMs, RAG, LangChain/LlamaIndex, or AI agents .

Strong knowledge of SQL and databases .

Experience with Git and CI/CD .

Good understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure .

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face, or similar AI platforms .

Knowledge of Vector Databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, or Chroma.

Experience with Docker/Kubernetes .

Knowledge of PyTorch or TensorFlow .

Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, ECS, or Bedrock .

Experience building production-grade AI applications.
