Location: Cedar Rapids, IA

A well-established, locally owned insurance agency in Cedar Rapids, Iowa is looking to hire an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to take ownership of an established book of mid-market commercial clients as the primary day-to-day contact within their growing insurance division.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the primary day-to-day service contact for assigned commercial accounts, building relationships with clients, producers, and carriers
• Analyze client insurance needs, coverage forms, and carrier quotations; complete and submit applications with producers
• Follow up with carriers on quotations, policies, endorsements, and renewals, and prepare certificates, binders, and account documentation
• Process policy changes and renewals, review audits, and resolve discrepancies between clients and carriers
• Prepare insurance summaries, proposals, and client correspondence; coordinate billing and invoicing
• Maintain accurate records in Applied Epic and respond to client questions with urgency and attention to detail

Required Qualifications

• Active Iowa Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license, or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
• Minimum 2 years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience
• Strong understanding of commercial coverages, renewals, policy servicing, and carrier relationships
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Applied Epic agency management software

Compensation & Benefits

• $65,000 - $80,000+, based on experience, plus bonus eligibility
