Job Overview

DTF Jersey is seeking a dependable and organized In-Store Operations Associate to support daily store operations at our Elmwood Park location.

This is a hands-on position involving customer service, order processing, inventory organization, quality control, heat pressing, packaging, and general store maintenance. The ideal candidate can multitask, follow instructions, pay close attention to details, and work effectively in a fast-paced custom-printing environment.

Responsibilities (Training Will be provided)

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional assistance.
• Answer basic questions about DTF transfers, UV DTF, custom apparel, blank garments, pricing, turnaround times, and application instructions.
• Receive and process walk-in, online, pickup, and shipping orders.
• Use Shopify POS and other company systems to enter and update orders.
• Confirm order details, including garment style, color, size, quantity, artwork, and requested completion date.
• Help customers submit artwork and explain basic file requirements.
• Check customer artwork for common issues such as low resolution, incorrect sizing, backgrounds, or poor image quality.
• Organize orders and communicate order details to the printing, design, warehouse, and shipping teams.
• Perform quality-control checks before orders are packaged or released.
• Organize and label completed pickup orders.
• Verify customer information before releasing pickup orders.
• Assist with heat pressing transfers onto T-shirts, hoodies, and other garments.
• Fold, package, label, and prepare completed orders.
• Stock and organize blank apparel by style, color, and size.
• Count inventory and report low-stock or missing items.
• Restock shelves and maintain organized product displays.
• Keep the front counter, customer areas, workstations, stockroom, and production areas clean and organized.
• Answer phone calls and respond to basic customer questions.
• Follow company policies regarding attendance, breaks, dress code, phone use, parking, safety, and customer service.
• Report order problems, customer complaints, damaged items, inventory differences, or production mistakes to management.
• Assist other team members with store, warehouse, production, and fulfillment tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, retail, printing, warehouse, or order-processing experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and company procedures.
• Comfortable using computers, email, Shopify, Canva, and POS systems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
• Dependable, punctual, organized, and willing to learn.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing approximately 25–35 pounds.
• Experience with DTF printing, heat pressing, graphic files, or custom apparel is a plus.
• Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus.

Position Type

Full-time or part-time, depending on business needs. Weekend availability may be required.
