Ultrasound Technologist - SIGN-ON BONUS

Ultrasound Technologist $10,000 Sign-On Bonus (2-Year Commitment) + Possible Relocation Assistance for Out-of-State Hires! We are seeking a skilled and versatile Ultrasound Technologist who possesses expertise in ultrasound imaging. The ideal candidate will be proficient in performing a wide range of ultrasound and vascular examinations. This role requires excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities Conduct ultrasound examinations following established protocols and procedures. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety. Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images of various body parts and systems, including but not limited to abdomen, pelvis, and gynecology. Assess images for clarity and accuracy, adjusting equipment settings as necessary to optimize image quality. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate interpretations of ultrasound findings. Maintain patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and patient confidentiality guidelines. Follow safety protocols and procedures. Assist in the maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance. Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound, attending training sessions and continuing education programs as needed. Qualifications ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification in Ultrasound. State licensure or certification as required by regulatory agencies. Current ACLS and BLS certification. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment. Commitment to patient safety, privacy, and confidentiality. Willingness to participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with advances in ultrasound technology and practices. Registered Technologist (preferred but not required). Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Manual dexterity to operate equipment. Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
