Job Description
Title
Sterile Processing Technician - Surgical Support

Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience required
- Preferred experience in Trauma Level I facility
- Certifications: CBSPD, IAHCSMM / HSPA
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Core sterile processing skills including:
- Instrument cleaning/assembly, case cart preparation, proper wrapping/labeling
- Use of washers/sterilizers, ultrasonic cleaners, high-level disinfection
- Testing/monitoring with steam, Steris, Sterrad, biological/chemical indicators
- Handling of endoscopy/laparoscopic instruments, implants, and loaner trays
- Knowledge of robotics (Da Vinci systems) and SPM instrumentation preferred

Compliance / Notes
- Two references required covering one year within the last three years
- Up to 6 days total or 3 consecutive days of request time off auto-approved; more requires approval and may delay offer
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
- Average of 16 hours of pre-start modules required (non-billable)
- Vehicle is required for this assignment
