Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Observation Unit to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Observation Unit for conditions such as chest pain, asthma, and minor infections.
• Administer IV antibiotics, fluids, insulin drips, and Nitro for Blood Pressure management.
• Maintain patient safety while monitoring vital signs and responding to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Utilize EPIC charting for accurate and timely documentation.
• Assist with float duties as needed across multiple units to support facility staffing.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Nebraska or ability to obtain prior to assignment start.
• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a large, urban hospital setting required.
• Proficient in EPIC charting system with strong documentation skills.
• Experience with drips, including Nitro, Heparin, and Insulin management.
• Flexibility to float to Bellevue campus and other units as needed.
