Powder Coat Line Worker

Job Summary Primary function: hang, process, inspect parts on a powder coat line, pack finished goods, maintain quality standards, operate equipment, and work in extreme heat. Responsibilities Lifting, hanging, and unhanging parts on a motorized conveyor line (up to 65 lbs). Blowing out water from parts after the wash cycle. Performing 100% visual inspection of all products before hanging on the line and before packing to detect defects such as rust or missing welds. Packing finished products on skids according to job‑specific requirements. Completing all job tasks in a timely manner while meeting established production quotas. Performing additional tasks as assigned by management. Competency or Position Requirements Ability to lift 65+ lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift. Work in extreme heat conditions (110‑115°F). Forklift operation. Strong attention to detail and quality control awareness. Effective communication skills. Time management skills and ability to meet production quotas. Adequate math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication). Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Physical stamina and endurance for repetitive tasks. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or GED. 1+ years of experience working in a warehouse environment. Equipment Used Forklift, hand dollies, measuring tools, calculator, lift‑assisting devices, and powder coat line machinery.
