Experienced Personal Injury Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced personal injury attorney to join their team in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate will work on a carefully managed docket of complex trucking litigation cases, providing meaningful support while developing their own caseload over time. Duties Manage a caseload of complex trucking litigation from intake through pretrial. Handle significant discovery issues independently. Take and defend depositions, including expert and corporate representative depositions. Assist with motion practice and argue motions in court. Prepare cases for trial and participate in trial preparation. Serve as a second or third chair on trials, with potential to grow into first-chair responsibilities. Collaborate on strategy for high-value, complex matters. Build relationships with clients, experts, and co-counsel. Requirements 5-10 years of personal injury litigation experience (plaintiff or defense side). Comfortable managing cases with autonomy. Strong writing and courtroom instincts. Interest in trucking litigation or eagerness to specialize in it. Desire to grow with the firm. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Texas. Skills Excellent legal research and writing skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
