Baker and Packager Associate

Position Summary Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and staying organized? Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for our members, following recipes and wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure members have the freshest items available to take home. What you’ll do Be a Team Member: Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team; communicate with team members; be flexible to the needs of the business and work in other areas. Be an Expert: Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment; follow recipes/make‑up instructions; wrap, label, and store merchandise according to company policies and procedures; ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution. Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner: Ensure commitment to operational excellence; maintain the work area according to company policies and procedures; ensure quality and date‑control standards for bakery items; secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise; eliminate waste; assist members with purchasing decisions; and ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience and modeling high‑quality service and products; execute basics at the highest possible level; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
