Seeking a skilled and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a part-time contract opportunity. This onsite position offers the chance to make a significant impact supporting young learners in grades K-2. The initial assignment involves providing supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) working with students with multiple disabilities, covering a maternity leave from September through October. Following this period, you’ll transition to delivering tier II and III behavioral supports for students facing more general behavioral challenges throughout the remainder of the school year.
This role is ideal for a BCBA enthusiastic about working with early elementary students, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and fostering positive behavioral change for a diverse group of children.
Qualifications:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Demonstrated experience working with K-2 student populations
- Previous supervision of RBTs or direct staff preferred
- Competence in designing and implementing behavior intervention plans
- Strong collaborative skills for partnership with educators, support staff, and families
- Flexibility and strong organizational abilities, with the capacity to adapt to changing needs
- Passion for supporting students with a range of behavioral and learning needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide daily onsite supervision and support to RBTs serving K-2 students
- Oversee and adjust individualized intervention strategies for students with multiple disabilities
- Collect and analyze data to inform decisions and interventions
- Deliver tier II and tier III behavioral services post-maternity coverage
- Collaborate closely with teachers and school staff to enhance learning environments
- Offer consultation and training to school personnel and families around positive behavior supports
