Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Schedule: Days (06:00), 3 x 12-hour shifts

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate direct clinical care for assigned patients during each shift.
• Supervise and delegate appropriate care to clinical staff.
• Collaborate with the facility's leadership to ensure high-quality and safe nursing care.
• Manage resources effectively related to patient care.
• Maintain competency in clinical practices and support the development of staff.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation is on the first day at 7 AM.
• Do not use the hospital parking; staff parking is available at a nearby location.
• HR office hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
• Patient ratios: 3:1 for step-down units and 4:1 for telemetry units.
• Responsibility for patient care falls on the nurses, not CNAs.
