Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Coordinator

An Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Coordinator manages electronic tracking systems that verify home healthcare and personal care visits to ensure state and federal compliance
Core Responsibilities
- Compliance Monitoring: Track visit logs, resolve EVV exceptions or alerts, and maintain target compliance rates (typically 85% or higher).
- System & Technical Support: Act as the on-site expert for EVV software (such as HHAeXchange), troubleshoot mobile app setups for caregivers, and liaise with software vendors.
- Training & Education: Train new hires and existing field staff on correct clock-in/clock-out procedures and GPS mobile app usage. [1]
- Payroll & Billing Support: Reconcile electronic visit records against timesheets to clear discrepancies before payroll and billing processing.
- Care Coordination: Frequently collaborate with employees to schedule teams in HHA to align caregiver availability with client care plans.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in a related field is often preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with computers, Google Drive/Microsoft Office, and specific home-care software platforms.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills to support diverse caregiver and client populations. Bilingual skills (such as English/Spanish) are frequently a plus.
