Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is: $105,000.00 - $130,000.00 Legal Entity: AECOM Technical Services Inc Business Line: Water Work Location Model: Hybrid Primary Location: US - Philadelphia, PA - 1635 Market Company Overview At AECOM's Water Business Line we are looking for a talented mid-career Structural Engineer to support water, wastewater treatment, flood protection, and associated projects in our Chelmsford, MA office. This position offers an opportunity to work within a national group, lead junior-level structural engineers under the guidance of Registered Professional Engineers, and develop a solid career. Responsibilities Perform assignments requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out tasks associated with the technical design and layout of structural engineering solutions for water and wastewater treatment facilities. Exercise engineering judgment for the development of facility layouts, material selections, analysis of structures, and providing Direct Responsible Charge, guidance and mentorship to junior-level structural engineers. Serve as the technical lead for the Structural Engineering department under the guidance of the Structural Engineering Department Head. Prepare layout and design site development features, access roads, drainage channels, slope stabilization, retaining walls, detention ponds, and surface drainage. Basic Qualifications BA/BS in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering Focus or related field + 4 years of relevant structural engineering experience or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Experience with ACI 350, Code Requirements for Environmental Engineering Concrete Structures, and related codes and standards. Registration as a professional engineer in a US jurisdiction with ability to obtain licensure via comity in other US jurisdictions. A valid U.S. Driver’s License is required to regularly drive AECOM vehicles to project sites. The selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Focus or other advanced degree. Additional Information Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
