We are currently seeking a Software Development Specialist to join our team in Montreal, Quebec (CA-QC), Canada (CA).

Job Description – Full Stack Developer (Hybrid, Montreal)

We are seeking a Frontend-focused Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and modern UI development, combined with solid DevOps and application deployment experience.  The ideal candidate should be highly proficient in frontend architecture, CI/CD, deployment automation, and application support within enterprise environments. While knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, and Tomcat is required, deep backend development expertise is not mandatory; candidates with moderate Java experience and stronger frontend and DevOps skills are preferred .

Day to Day Job Duties:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.
• Develop responsive user interfaces using HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular.
• Build and support backend services, APIs, and business logic using Java and Spring Framework.
• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot applications running on Apache Tomcat environments.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in application design discussions, code reviews, and Agile development ceremonies.
• Perform application support and troubleshooting activities using Unix/Linux command-line tools.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, security, and scalability.
• Contribute to software release planning, testing, deployment, and production support activities.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of Frontend Development experience with HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular (Mandatory)

• Minimum 5+ years of Backend Development experience with Java, Spring Framework, Apache Tomcat (Preferred)
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems, DevOps deployments, including executing commands and navigating the shell (Mandatory).
• Experience developing and supporting enterprise-grade web applications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Travel:

Candidate must be able to work in a  hybrid model from Montreal, Quebec , with regular attendance at the client office as required.

Degree:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Nice to Have: (But not a must)

• Mobile application development experience (iOS, Android, or cross-platform frameworks).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
• Previous experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries.

Nous recherchons un développeur Full Stack spécialisé en frontend, possédant une solide expertise en Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5 et développement d'interfaces utilisateur modernes, ainsi qu'une expérience significative en DevOps et déploiement d'applications. Le candidat idéal maîtrise parfaitement l'architecture frontend, l'intégration continue et la livraison continue (CI/CD), l'automatisation des déploiements et le support applicatif en environnement d'entreprise. La connaissance de Java, du framework Spring et de Tomcat est requise, mais une expertise approfondie en développement backend n'est pas indispensable ; les candidats ayant une expérience intermédiaire en Java et de solides compétences en frontend et DevOps seront privilégiés.

Tâches quotidiennes :

Concevoir, développer, tester et maintenir des applications web d'entreprise à l'aide de technologies frontend et backend modernes.

Développer des interfaces utilisateur responsives avec HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript et Angular.

Concevoir et maintenir des services backend, des API et la logique métier avec Java et le framework Spring.

Déployer, configurer et dépanner des applications exécutées sur des environnements Apache Tomcat. Collaborer avec les analystes fonctionnels, les architectes, les équipes d'assurance qualité et les autres développeurs pour fournir des solutions logicielles de haute qualité.

Participer aux discussions sur la conception d'applications, aux revues de code et aux cérémonies de développement Agile.

Assurer le support et le dépannage des applications à l'aide des outils en ligne de commande Unix/Linux.

Optimiser les performances, la fiabilité, la sécurité et l'évolutivité des applications.

Contribuer à la planification des mises en production, aux tests, au déploiement et au support en production.

Qualifications requises :

Minimum 5 ans d'expérience en développement front-end avec HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript et Angular (obligatoire).

Minimum 5 ans d'expérience en développement back-end avec Java, Spring Framework et Apache Tomcat (souhaitable).

Maîtrise des systèmes d'exploitation Unix/Linux et des déploiements DevOps, notamment l'exécution de commandes et la navigation dans le shell (obligatoire).

Expérience du développement et du support d'applications web d'entreprise.

Solides compétences analytiques, de dépannage et de résolution de problèmes.

Déplacements :

Le/la candidat(e) doit pouvoir travailler selon un modèle hybride depuis Montréal (Québec), avec des déplacements réguliers au bureau du client au besoin.

Diplôme :

Baccalauréat en informatique, en technologies de l’information, en génie logiciel ou expérience professionnelle équivalente.

Atouts : (mais non obligatoires)

Expérience en développement d’applications mobiles (iOS, Android ou frameworks multiplateformes).

Expérience des pipelines CI/CD et des pratiques DevOps.

Connaissance des plateformes infonuagiques telles qu’AWS, Azure ou Google Cloud.

Expérience de l’architecture de microservices et du développement d’API RESTful.

Expérience antérieure dans le secteur des services financiers ou d’autres secteurs fortement réglementés.
