Registered Nurse - General ObservationThis is a straight night shift position, working from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend and holiday required. On-call duties will be assigned per unit needs.We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our General Observation Unit. In this role, you will play a critical part in monitoring patient conditions, providing essential nursing care, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure high standards of patient outcomes.Responsibilities include:Monitor and assess patient vital signs and overall health status.Administer medications and provide basic care interventions.Assist patients with daily living activities and comfort measures.Communicate effectively with the medical team regarding patient progress.Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.Recognize and respond to emergencies, providing initial care and stabilization.Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:Minimum of 2 years of experience in a general medical-surgical unit or similar nursing field.Current Registered Nurse license issued by the Ohio State Board of Nursing.BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.Strong observational and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple patients and tasks efficiently.This is a 13-week contract position.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
