Job Title

Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist – NICU

Location

Fort Worth, Texas

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend | 36 Guaranteed Hours | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a NICU and respiratory therapy unit setting
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and interpret results
• Assist with intubation procedures as needed
• Administer nebulizer treatments, Metaneb, IPPB, and chest physiotherapy (CPT)
• Operate and monitor mechanical ventilators for patients across all age ranges
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with strong customer service skills

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of hospital-based respiratory therapy experience
• NICU experience required
• ICU experience required
• ED experience required
• Proficiency with Meditech documentation system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience operating Servo I ventilator
• Experience with I-Stat point-of-care testing device
