This is a unique opportunity to become part of a new practice from day one while receiving paid training at one of our established sister offices. About the Role As a Dental Hygienist with us, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care, supporting preventive dentistry, and helping shape the culture of a brand‑new office. You'll train at a nearby sister location to ensure you're fully prepared before the Palm Bay office opens. Key Responsibilities * Preventive hygiene care - Perform cleanings, periodontal therapy, and oral health assessments * Patient education - Communicate treatment needs and promote long‑term oral health * Digital charting - Maintain accurate electronic records * Team collaboration - Support a positive, efficient, patient‑focused environment * Technology use - Work with modern equipment in a fully updated clinical setting What We Offer * Competitive compensation * Paid training at a sister office * Flexible scheduling options * Continuing education support Minimum Qualifications * Current dental hygienist license in FL and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required) * Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation * CPR Certification Preferred Experience * Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems * Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health * Clinical needs as required by office Physical Requirements * Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment.
