Respiratory Care Practitioner

Respiratory Care Practitioner
The Respiratory Care Practitioner is responsible for providing safe, quality respiratory patient care and education to patients and their families. Additional job description includes collaboration with the healthcare team, participation in on-going feedback regarding performance improvement, implementation of clinical pathway/plan of care to guide the patient care delivery.
Responsibilities
The Respiratory Care Practitioner must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas: MST, ICU, Emergency Room, Subacute and BHU.
Qualifications
Graduated from AMA accredited School of Respiratory Therapy or equivalent.
Minimum of one year acute patient care experience in Respiratory Services or Respiratory related care preferred.
Current California RCP license.
Current Healthcare provider BLS.
Current ACLS.
Current PALS and NRP, within 60 days of hiring.
RRT preferred.
