Pasta/Sautee Cook

Role Overview We are looking for a part-time cook to support the hot-side of our line. Pasta & Sauté Line Cooks are responsible for preparing pasta, sautéed, and grilled menu items according to Parry's recipes, quality standards, and ticket-time expectations. This role requires excellent communication, strong time management, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining exceptional food quality. Success in this position means delivering every plate accurately, consistently, and on time while supporting a clean, organized, and high-performing kitchen. Responsibilities + Duties Prepare pasta, sautéed, and grilled menu items by following Parry's recipes, portion standards, and presentation expectations Execute food orders accurately while maintaining company ticket-time standards Understand the taste, appearance, and quality expectations for every menu item prepared on the station Communicate proactively with the Leader in the Window and fellow line cooks to ensure guests receive complete orders together Prioritize multiple tickets while maintaining composure, organization, and attention to detail Label, date, rotate, and store all food products according to company standards Monitor station pars throughout the shift and communicate product needs before they become shortages Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized workstation throughout the shift Follow all food safety, sanitation, and temperature standards consistently Support overall BOH execution by assisting teammates, completing opening and closing duties, and helping wherever needed during volume Qualifications + Skills Previous BOH or line cook experience preferred Experience working a pasta, sauté, or grill station is a plus Strong sense of urgency and ability to multitask during high-volume service Excellent communication and teamwork skills Attention to detail with a commitment to food quality and consistency Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business requires Able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 35 lbs. as needed Reliable, professional, and coachable with a desire to continuously improve Perks + Benefits Flexible scheduling Ongoing training and career growth opportunities Discounted meals (50% off!) 401(k) with company match Health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision (available to eligible full-time employees) Accrued paid time off (PTO) (available to eligible full-time employees) About Parry's At Parry's Pizzeria & Taphouse, we create memorable dining experiences through Craveably Crafted Food & Beer and Uncommon Hospitality.
