Financial Associate

Careerscape is supporting a client opening for a Remote Entry-Level Financial Associate. This role focuses on supporting financial processes, assisting with reporting, and helping maintain accurate financial records for a growing organization.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and interested in building a career in finance or business operations. No prior professional experience is required—training will be provided.

The Financial Associate will work with finance and operations teams to support day-to-day financial activities and ensure accuracy across systems and reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist with financial data entry, tracking, and recordkeeping
• Support invoicing, billing, and payment processing
• Maintain spreadsheets and financial reports
• Review financial data for accuracy and completeness
• Help prepare reports for internal teams
• Track expenses, transactions, and operational data
• Support audits and compliance documentation
• Update financial systems and databases
• Coordinate with finance and operations teams
• Help improve financial processes and organization

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred (finance, business, accounting, or related field)
• No prior experience required (training provided)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic math and analytical skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Google Sheets, email)
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
