As Restaurant Manager you will support your management team in the leadership of one of our venues, taking the reins whenever they aren't on site and partnering on all elements of running a successful business. Restaurant Manager Who we are… The Ned and Ned's Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time. Seven years after launching The Ned London in 2017, we are proud to be have opened Ned's Club in the US capital in 2025, our fourth and newest location. The Property… Ned's Club Washington DC is a members' club set over three floors of a neoclassical style building situated within President's Park at 734 15th Street NW. The Riggs Building sits opposite the US Treasury and was constructed in 1930. The 12-storey building is located around the corner from the White House and sits above the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream, formerly the historic Riggs Bank Corcoran branch. The Club has a Rooftop Terrace and Loft Restaurant with views overlooking the White House, US Treasury and Washington Monument, plus a Founder's Dining Room, The Library, Drawing Room, Gallery and Conservatory. On level nine, there is a self-contained floor of private event spaces. As an Restaurant Manager and a key part of the management team, you will: Support your management team in delivering all operational, commercial, experiential, and people performance You'll contribute to and drive the restaurant strategy to achieve our goals and build a long-term vision for the brand Closely monitor financial performance, you'll provide direction and make decisions where needed to protect and drive profitability, including labor scheduling, expense control, sales forecasting, annual budgeting process and month end performance analysis Our customer and member experience are central to success, and you'll be obsessive about any detail that has the potential to make or break this You're accountable for ensuring the whole team delivers exceptional service and equally, you'll hold them to account for performance as measured on the restaurant balanced scorecard As an accountable person for health and safety and labor relations, you'll ensure that all regulatory compliance is maintained Support with all people leadership tasks - including team recruitment, development and performance chats, onboarding new starters - this is a great role for a growing manager who wants to build their people management skillset What you can bring to the role: Previous leadership experience with a proven track record of delivering outstanding food, guest experiences, and people management Our customers and guests expect the best, so high standards are essential An organized and detailed manner is necessary, as impeccable record keeping is needed to maintain records for our safety and audit standards A commercial mindset is non-negotiable in all our leaders as you will be supporting in delivering excellent financial performance and results Our operation can be a high-pressure environment, but you'll be the steady presence that our team look to, so a calm demeanor and a genuine passion for providing guests with an exceptional experience every time is essential Have the ability to be flexible with your schedule, we believe in balancing your needs and our guests Able to stand for long period of times to include an 8 to 10 hour shift Can lift, pull, push up a minimum of 35lbs What The Ned can give you: Salary of up to $100,000/year Medical, Dental, Vision, Company Paid Life, STD, LTD Insurance Complimentary meals in our friendly team restaurant when the Club opens Exciting learning and development programs to help progress your career Exclusive rates with our hotels for stays and dining, exclusive rates for your family and friends for hotel stays Paid time off 401k matching Employee assistance program - advice and support Reward and recognition initiatives At The Ned, we don't just celebrate our diversity, we challenge ourselves to do even better.
