Quality Control Manager - Aviation

We are supporting an established aviation MRO business in hiring a Quality Control Manager to lead its inspection function. The successful candidate will oversee receiving, in-process and final inspections, ensuring all maintenance and return-to-service activity meets regulatory, technical and customer requirements. Responsibilities Lead inspectors and senior inspection personnel. Manage inspection activity across multiple component workshops. Standardize inspection methods and workmanship standards. Review technical findings and airworthiness documentation. Approve return-to-service packages. Manage non-conforming material and investigate quality escapes. Ensure tooling and equipment remain within calibration requirements. Support regulatory and customer inspections. Develop inspector training and competency programs. Partner with Production to improve first-pass yield and product quality. Candidate Profile 10+ years of inspection experience within an FAA Part 145 environment. Previous Chief Inspector or Quality Control Manager experience. Extensive commercial aircraft component or landing gear inspection experience. Strong knowledge of aircraft overhaul manuals and regulatory requirements. Experience leading and developing inspection teams. An FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr Metric Geo
